About Ti Nelson
Social worker, Ti Nelson, MSW, LSWAIC, is licensed as a Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical with the State of WA and currently under supervision working toward an independent license.
She was born and raised in Washington State moving to the Tri-cities in 2001 to begin her college degrees. Ti graduated from CBC with an Associates Degree in Arts and Sciences, from Heritage University with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work, and from Walla Walla University with a Masters Degree in Social Work.
Her therapeutic orientation is eclectic and intuitive; trained in N.E.T. (Neuro-Emotional Technique). she draws from a number of therapies and theories including family systems theory, attachment theory, client-centered therapy, narrative therapy, solution focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy and the art therapies.
Her therapeutic philosophy is recovery based. she believes healing is a journey that takes time and intention. The process of healing lies within the individual and involves the mind, body and spirit. Ti's primary role is to guide you to your own inner-awareness and power to heal and be healed. She will strive to listen with her whole heart and be worthy of your trust. Ti will seek to know, understand, educate, encourage, support, challenge and empower you. She believes the time spent with you is a privilege and an honor and will touch both your lives.

Community Involvement
Ti currently serves as a board member of the International Associations of Eating Disorder Professionals. She hosts an eating dissorder support group on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month. For more information on attending the group call her at 509-783-7333.
For the past 8 years Ti has been a part of the Planning Committee for the Crisis Intervention Technique Training for police officers and first responders; including sharing her own recovery story to help eliminate stigma around mental health.
She is also a member of the Benton-Franklin County Health Alliance and chairs the Mental Health Committee.
Session Information
Accepting clients from ages 12 and up. No additional charge for your first appointment (intake.) From there we will decided on a course of action that will work for you in your recovery process.
Fees: $110.00 for an individual therapy session, based on the 50-minute hour. Payment is due at the end of each session unless other arrangements have been agreed upon. Compassionate Counseling is not currently contracted with any insurance companies and will be an out of network provider. Sliding fee based on income is offered on a case-by-case basis.
Appointments require a 24-hour notice of cancellation.
Please note, court related work is not something that Compassionate Counseling does at this time.
